United Carton Industries posts 578% higher profits in Q2-26

Riyadh - Mubasher: United Carton Industries Company logged net profits valued at SAR 28.79 million for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, representing a 257.76% leap from SAR 8.05 million in the same period last year.

Revenues for Q2 jumped by 14.66% to SAR 384.09 million, compared to SAR 335 million in the prior-year quarter.

The company attributed the profit growth to higher sales volumes across all segments and an increase in average selling prices.

Results were further supported by a higher number of working days compared to the second quarter of the previous year, which had been impacted by holiday schedules.

Additionally, the company noted that profit margins improved as the prior-year period was pressured by high raw material costs, particularly paper.

In the first half (H1) of 2026, the net profits hit SAR 52.94 million, an annual leap of 98.27% from SAR 26.70 million in the corresponding period of 2025.

Half-year revenues climbed by 7.70% to SAR 737.58 million. Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period stood at SAR 1.32, up from SAR 0.67.

Total shareholders' equity was reported at SAR 625.54 million as of 30 June 2026.

In Q1-26, the company’s profits hiked by 29.48% to SAR 24.15 million from SAR 18.65 million in Q1-25.
