Tihama Advertising posts 448.5% higher YoY losses at end-March 2026

Riyadh – Mubasher: Tihama Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Company suffered a net loss of SAR 52.79 million at the end of March 2026, representing a 448.45% increase compared to SAR 9.63 million a year earlier.

The company reported that accumulated losses reached SAR 54.74 million, accounting for 23.88% of its capital, according to the financial results.

Annual revenues hiked by 27.64% to SAR 33.06 million, driven by new income from the marketing and event management sector. However, the bottom line was pressured by a SAR 43.37 million loss from investment portfolios, compared to a SAR 4.09 million gain in the prior period.

Other factors included a SAR 2.11 million increase in slow-moving inventory provisions and a SAR 5.97 million decline in other income due to a lack of bank deposits.

The independent auditor issued a qualified opinion, citing an inability to verify the fair value of a SAR 15 million investment in the Saudi Film Fund and certain investments in associates.

The auditor also highlighted a material uncertainty regarding the group's ability to continue as a going concern, noting a total loss of SAR 53.09 million and negative operating cash flows of SAR 31.98 million for the year.

The company appointed Fahad Abdullah Al Khunaini to its board of directors to fill a vacant seat on 1 July 2026, a strategic addition to the company’s leadership as it navigates its current board term.
