Riyadh – Mubasher: Tihama Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Company announced that the Appeal Committee for Resolution of Securities Disputes has upheld a previous decision regarding the company's lawsuit against Middle East Financial Investment Company (MEFIC Capital).
This disclosure follows the company’s initial announcement regarding the litigation developments published on 2 August 2026.
The company further clarified that it has reclassified its investment balance in the Saudi Film Fund as a financial asset at fair value through profit or loss.
In compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Tihama also reclassified comparative balances from other debit balances to financial assets at fair value through profit or loss.
Management stated that these accounting adjustments were made to align with regulatory reporting requirements and confirmed there is no cash impact resulting from the reclassification.
The company noted that there are no further changes or additional financial impacts beyond those previously disclosed on 2 August.
