Riyadh — Mubasher: The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced the approval of a request from the Ministry of Finance to list additional government debt instruments totaling SAR 5.35 billion, according to an official statement.
The listing of these reopened tranches is scheduled to commence on 23 July 2026.
The largest portion of the increase involves issue 08-08-2023 (5332), which will see an addition of SAR 3.83 billion, bringing its total outstanding size to SAR 21.78 billion.
Another significant increase was applied to issue 15-01-2026 (5379), which rose by SAR 500 million to reach a total of SAR 16.63 billion.
Further adjustments include a SAR 515 million increase for issue 10-08-2023 (5334), resulting in a total value of SAR 23.37 billion.
Issue 15-01-2024 (5339) was expanded by SAR 300 million to reach SAR 51.53 billion, while issue 12-04-2024 (5344) received an additional SAR 204 million, bringing its total to SAR 48.98 billion.
The move follows the exchange's listing rules regarding the expansion of previously issued debt categories.
Meanwhile, these additions reflect the Saudi government's ongoing strategy to manage domestic debt and provide additional liquidity to the local fixed-income market.
