Social Development Bank records SAR 6.5bn financing since start of 2025

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Social Development Bank (SDB) delivered SAR 6.50 billion in total financing since the beginning of 2025, benefiting over 90,000 citizens and enterprises across the Kingdom.

Freelancers and family businesses received SAR 2.50 billion, distributed over 53,000 men and women, with 14,500 financed during the third quarter (Q3), according to a press release.

The bank supported small and emerging enterprises with more than SAR 2.40 billion, benefiting 7,300 enterprises, of which 2,400 were financed in Q3.

Social financing totaled SAR 1.60 billion, serving 30,000 citizens, including 10,000 in Q3-25.

The bank also expanded non-financial services, with savings accounts reaching 58,400 and 23,800 beneficiaries using empowerment and development programs by Q3-25.

For his part, Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Hamidi, CEO of the Social Development Bank, affirmed that the bank contributes to empowering entrepreneurs, promoting enterprise growth, and transforming innovative ideas into sustainable projects that help build a vibrant and productive economy.
