Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Sukuk and Bonds Market index closed lower on Monday, 27 July 2026, shedding 28.16 points to end the session at 4,779.58 points.
Trading activity saw a balanced split between advancing and declining instruments, with five gainers and five losers, while the majority of the market remained unchanged.
Total liquidity for the session reached SAR 10.72 million, driven largely by activity in financial and corporate Sukuk.
The index experienced a daily decline of 0.59%, retreating from its previous levels as selling pressure in key corporate instruments outweighed gains in government and smaller corporate issues.
Market participation resulted in a total traded volume of 10.76 million units.
Out of 63 listed instruments, 53 remained at their previous closing prices, reflecting a concentrated trading focus on a select group of Sukuk.
In terms of individual performance, ALKATHIRI SUKUK 03/2028 (5015) led the gainers, rising 2.23% to close at SAR 73.50.
It was followed by the government-issued KSA Sukuk 2024-01-10 (5338), which increased by 0.64% to SAR 97.54, and RAWASI SUKUK 03/2030 (5021), which added 0.41% to reach SAR 98.90.
Other notable gainers included KSA Sukuk 2026-01-15 (5379) and KSA Sukuk 2019-01-10 (5274), which rose 0.28% and 0.16% respectively.
On the downside, AQASEEM SUKUK 05/2030 (5022) recorded the steepest decline of the session, falling 1.84% to SAR 95.20.
SAUDI GERMAN HEALTH SUKUK 03/2029 (5019) dropped 0.42% to SAR 99.58. Perpetual instruments also faced pressure, with RAYA SUKUK PREP (5024) and ALRAJHI SUKUK PERP (1113) both declining by 0.18%.
CENOMI CENTERS SUKUK 11/2031 (5023) saw a marginal decrease of 0.05% to close at SAR 101.25.
Liquidity and volume were heavily concentrated in ALRAJHI SUKUK PERP (1113), which dominated the session with a traded value of SAR 8.64 million and a volume of 8.72 million units.
RAYA SUKUK PREP (5024) followed with SAR 1.11 million in turnover.
Other active instruments by value included CENOMI CENTERS SUKUK 11/2031 (5023) at SAR 330,000 and IOUD SUKUK 05/2031 (5026) at SAR 230,000.
BIDAYA SUKUK 03/2029 (5025) also saw notable activity with SAR 220,000 in trades, closing unchanged at SAR 101.00.
