Saudi German Health appoints new independent board member

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Middle East Healthcare Company (Saudi German Health) issued a resolution by circulation on 9 September to appoint Yousef Abdulrahman Al Zamil as an independent member.

The appointment, effective from 13 September 2026, fills a vacant seat on the board and will continue until the end of the current term on 7 July 2030.

Al Zamil brings over 20 years of experience in risk management, compliance, governance, and financial institution supervision. He currently serves as the Chief Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity Officer at Tawreed for Financing Solutions.

His professional background includes leadership roles at the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and credit-auditing experience at Al Rajhi Bank.

He holds a Master’s degree in Investment from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Qassim University.

The board's decision remains subject to approval by the company’s shareholders at the next General Assembly meeting.

The appointment aligns with the company's efforts to strengthen its governance framework through the addition of specialized expertise in financial oversight and regulatory compliance.

Mater Saud Hatilan Al Enazi recently resigned from his position as an independent member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
