Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Chemical Company Holding registered 15.99% increase in net profit for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, reaching SAR 80.57 million compared to SAR 69.46 million during the same period last year.
The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue of SAR 1.84 billion, a 4.34% rise from SAR 1.77 billion in the prior-year quarter, driven primarily by higher sales volumes.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, net profit grew by 10.57% to SAR 167.78 million, up from SAR 151.74 million in H1-25. Earnings per share (EPS) for the period improved to SAR 0.2 from SAR 0.18.
The company attributed the profit growth to a significant reduction in borrowing costs and lower provisions for trade receivables, alongside gains from the revaluation of derivative financial instruments used to hedge interest rate risks.
Operational performance remained stable with first-half revenues reaching SAR 3.57 billion, up 4.68% year-on-year (YoY). Total shareholders’ equity increased by 12.08% to SAR 2.47 billion.
Net cash from operating activities turned positive at SAR 182.10 million in H1-26, compared to a cash outflow of SAR 50.40 million in the corresponding period of 2025.
In July, Sitco Pharma, a unit of Saudi Chemical, won a SAR 56.50 million construction contract for a new high-tech warehouse in Jeddah.
