Riyadh — Mubasher: SAL Saudi Logistics Services Company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia to enhance collaboration across transportation, logistics, and digital transformation.
The partnership also aims to explore opportunities to develop joint solutions and services in the Kingdom.
Both sides will explore leveraging Huawei’s advanced technologies, including 5G, AI, cloud computing, and green energy technologies, to support the digitalization of logistics zones and enhance operational efficiency.
They will also study the development of an inventory and distribution hub to support Huawei’s requirements in Saudi Arabia, leveraging SAL’s operational capabilities and logistics network.
Under the MoU, SAL is expected to become an approved logistics services provider for Huawei, creating broader opportunities for commercial and operational collaboration between the two parties.
These joint projects could enhance the efficiency of the logistics ecosystem, accelerate digital transformation, support business growth in the Kingdom, and contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
During the LEAP 2026 conference in Riyadh, SAL and Elm Company launched CargoGate to streamline shipment pickup and delivery procedures across SAL’s stations.
