Riyadh Cement’s net profits down to SAR 110m in H1-26

Riyadh - Mubasher: Riyadh Cement Company achieved net profits amounting to SAR 110 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, an annual fall of 17.29% from the SAR 133 million.

The company attributed the decline to a 5.53% drop in total revenues, which shrank to SAR 393 million from SAR 416 million, alongside higher production costs driven by increased fuel prices.

Operating profit for H1-26 stood at SAR 111 million, a decrease of 18.98% compared to SAR 137 million in the previous year. Earnings per share (EPS) retreated to SAR 0.92 from SAR 1.11.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 50 million, down 12.28% from SAR 57 million in the prior-year quarter.

While quarterly revenue edged up 1.05% to SAR 193 million, profit margins were squeezed by a more competitive market environment and lower average selling prices for black cement.

This was partially mitigated by higher sales volumes and improved pricing for white cement products.

Despite the lower earnings, total shareholders' equity increased by 2.33% to SAR 1.76 billion. The company also confirmed a total cash dividend distribution of SAR 72 million for H2-25, equivalent to SAR 0.60 per share.

On 5 August, the board members approved cash dividend distribution of SAR 96 million for H1-26.
