Riyadh - Mubasher: Riyadh Cement Company inked a contract with Cachapuz for Weighing and Logistics to supply, install, and operate advanced technical solutions for automating its logistics and distribution processes.
The agreement is valued at EUR 279,000 and carries a duration of one year.
The project involves the deployment of new logistics platforms for suppliers and customers, alongside safety and compliance tools powered by computer vision technology.
These digital solutions are designed to automate distribution operations without human intervention, improving overall operational efficiency and strengthening integration with partners.
According to the regulatory filing, the implementation aligns with the company’s broader strategy to expand its use of automation and digital tools to enhance safety standards and customer experience.
Riyadh Cement expects the financial impact of this contract to materialize following the commencement of operations. The company confirmed there are no related parties involved in the transaction.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the listed company logged net profits amounting to SAR 110 million, an annual fall of 17.29% from the SAR 133 million.
