Quara Finance’s net profits leap 97% in H1-26

Riyadh — Mubasher: Quara Finance Company registered net profits amounting to SAR 19.80 million for the first six months (6M) of 2026, marking a 96.77% increase from the SAR 10.06 million a year earlier.

Earnings per share (EPS) increased to SAR 0.66 in the first half (H1) of 2026 from SAR 0.34 a year earlier.

The company attributed the bottom-line growth to higher murabaha revenues and a reduction in expected credit losses, supported by improved quality in the financing portfolio.

Total revenue for the half-year period reached SAR 137.24 million, a 3.39% increase compared to SAR 132.74 million in the previous year, following the execution of new financing contracts.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 10.17 million, representing a 576.52% surge compared to SAR 1.50 million in Q2-25.

Quarterly revenue hit SAR 70.53 million, up 4.23% year-on-year (YoY). Operating profit for the quarter rose to SAR 12.56 million from SAR 1.88 million.

Total shareholders' equity reached SAR 487.05 million as of 30 June 2026, compared to SAR 469.32 million on the same date in 2025. The company’s debt-to-equity ratio was reported at 1.14.

Faisal bin Abdulrahman Al Sheikh recently resigned from his position as the CEO of Quara Finance.
