Riyadh — Mubasher: Purity for Information Technology Company (Purity Tech) has officially announced the completion of the sale of fractional shares resulting from its recent capital increase.
The company confirmed that the proceeds generated from the sale will be deposited into the bank accounts of eligible shareholders starting 21 October 2026.
This move follows the company’s strategic decision to expand its capital base through the issuance of bonus shares; a measure approved during the fourth Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held in September 2026.
The fractional shares were created as a direct result of the company’s capital restructuring, which involved the distribution of one bonus share for every three shares held by existing investors.
This capitalization of reserves is a common practice for Saudi-listed firms looking to align their share capital with their asset base or to reward long-term shareholders without depleting cash reserves.
Because the distribution ratio often results in non-whole numbers of shares for certain portfolios, fractional units are aggregated and sold on the market by the company on behalf of the entitled shareholders.
According to the regulatory filing, the sale process for these fractional shares was concluded on 29 September.
A total of 149 shares were sold during the period, generating total proceeds of SAR 2,579. The company reported that the average selling price achieved per share was SAR 17.31.
While the volume of shares sold was relatively small, the completion of this process is a mandatory regulatory step to ensure that all equity entitlements are properly liquidated and returned to the respective investors.
