Riyadh - Mubasher: National Agricultural Development Company (Nadec) has released its annual sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) report for 2025.
The disclosure highlights the company’s progress in aligning its operations with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives, specifically regarding food security and resource efficiency.
The company reported total revenues of SAR 3.53 billion for 2025. During the period, Nadec achieved an 11% reduction in total greenhouse gas emissions compared to the previous year.
Environmental milestones included a 53% waste recycling rate and the processing of 150,000 tons of organic waste into fertilizers.
The company also managed a sewage treatment capacity of 10,000 cubic meters per day.
Social and governance metrics showed a 32% increase in female representation within the workforce, which totaled 4,750 employees.
Nadec invested SAR 3.47 million in community initiatives and allocated SAR 6.46 million toward climate transition and adaptation, representing 0.20% of total spending.
