Riyadh – Mubasher: Mutakamela Insurance Company swung to net losses attributable to the shareholders amounting to SAR 22.02 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, according to the financial results.
The negative results were recorded against net profits of SAR 14.52 million in H1-25.
Loss per share hit SAR 0.37 at the end of June 2026, compared to an earnings per share (EPS) worth SAR 0.24 a year earlier.
Insurance revenues declined by 4.29% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 408.62 million in H1-26 from SAR 426.94 million.
Accumulated losses hit SAR 8.22 million as of 30 June 2026, accounting for 1% of the capital.
Quarterly Results
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the company turned to net losses of SAR 11.39 million, versus net profits valued at SAR 8.71 million in Q2-25. Insurance revenues fell by 3% to SAR 213.96 million from SAR 220.58 million.
On a quarterly basis, the net losses climbed by 7.20% from SAR 10.62 million in Q1-26, while the revenues jumped by 9.92% from SAR 194.65 million.
