Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market rose in Monday’s early trading by 0.18% or 10.54 points to the level of 5,738.33 points.
Trading volume reached 1.3 million shares exchanged through 73 transactions, making a turnover of OMR 269,380 by 10:40 AM Muscat time.
The financial sector grew 0.28% as Bank Sohar topped gainers by adding 2.34%. Al Anwar Holding also leapt by 0.53%.
The industrial sector levelled up 0.18% as Al Jazeera Steel Products advanced 0.84%. The stock made the biggest activity with a volume of 495,070 shares exchanged at OMR 119,520.
Meanwhile, the services sector was flat.
