Riyadh - Mubasher: The net profits of Mouwasat Medical Services Company climbed by 13.06% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 211.38 million in the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, compared to SAR 186.97 million.
Quarterly revenue rose by 10.06% to SAR 876.44 million from SAR 796.35 million a year earlier.
The company attributed the growth to the commencement of operations at its new Yanbu hospital during Q1-26, alongside higher occupancy rates in inpatient departments and improved contractual terms with clients.
Financial results were further bolstered by a SAR 20.40 million capital gain realized from the sale of land.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the net profit reached SAR 412.38 million, a 7.39% increase compared to SAR 384.01 million in the prior-year period. Half-year revenue climbed by 9.58% to SAR 1.71 billion.
Mouwasat also noted a reduction in Zakat expenses following a final assessment for 2024. Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period stood at SAR 2.06, compared to SAR 1.92 last year.
Total shareholders' equity was reported at SAR 3.97 billion.
In Q1-26, the listed company’s net profits grew by 2% YoY to SAR 201.01 million from SAR 197.05 million.
