Riyadh - Mubasher: Modern Mills for Food Products Company has appointed Khalid Amin Temairik as an independent member of its board of directors.
The decision, issued by the board on 14 September, also names Temairik as the Chairman of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee.
Temairik fills a vacant seat for the remainder of the current board term, which is scheduled to conclude on 15 August 2027.
He currently serves as the CEO of Basamh Group and brings extensive leadership experience in the food and consumer goods sectors across Saudi Arabian and international markets.
Temairik holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Seattle University.
The appointment is effective from 15 September 2026.
While approved by the board following a recommendation from the Remuneration and Nominations Committee, the appointment remains provisional and will be presented for formal ratification at the company’s next General Assembly meeting.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the company’s net profits increased to SAR 119.33 million from SAR 115.31 million a year earlier.
