MEFIC REIT incurs SAR 3m losses in H1-26

Riyadh – Mubasher: Middle East Financial Investment Company (MEFIC Capital) has released the financial statement for MEFIC REIT Fund for the period ending 30 June 2026.

The fund reported a net loss of SAR 3.17 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, representing a loss of SAR 0.04 per unit.

As of the end of the second quarter (Q2), the fund’s total asset value reached SAR 922.12 million, while its net asset value (NAV) stood at SAR 512.60 million.

The NAV per unit was recorded at SAR 7. The fund’s real estate portfolio, comprising five properties, maintained an overall occupancy rate of 66%. Geographically, the portfolio is concentrated in Riyadh at 78% and Makkah at 22%.

The fund manager confirmed that no cash distributions were made for Q2-26. Financial indicators show a debt-to-total assets ratio of 33.76%, with credit facilities carrying a five-year exposure duration maturing on 1 August 2031.

Total expenses and fees charged to the fund during the period amounted to SAR 3.21 million, representing 0.35% of total assets.

Last June, MEFIC REIT Fund announced a board decision regarding the future of the Plaza 1 property.
