Riyadh — Mubasher: Herfy Food Services Company shifted to profitability during the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, posting a net profit of SAR 3.02 million, according to the income statements.
This result marks a recovery compared to the SAR 48.13 million net loss recorded during the same period of 2025.
Herfy attributed the turnaround to increased sales and lower selling, distribution, and financing expenses.
Quarterly revenue rose by 1.41% to SAR 268.40 million in Q3-26 from SAR 264.67 million a year earlier.
Operating profit for the quarter reached SAR 11.04 million, compared to an operating loss of SAR 39.73 million in the prior-year period.
For the first nine-month period, Herfy reported a net profit of SAR 2.07 million, reversing a net loss of SAR 65.82 million in 9M-25.
Despite the return to profit, total revenue for the nine-month period fell by 4.13% to SAR 783.99 million.
Earnings per share (EPS) improved to SAR 0.03 for the current 9M-26 period, compared to a loss per share of SAR 1.02 in 2025.
Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, stood at SAR 851.30 million as of 30 September 2026.
