Riyadh — Mubasher: Foods Gate Trading Company announced its interim financial results for the first half (H1) of 2026, reporting a net profit of SAR 3.50 million.
The January-June 2026 earnings represented an 11.27% decrease compared to the SAR 3.95 million recorded during the same period in the previous year, according to a bourse filing.
Foods Gate generated 4.18% higher revenue to SAR 30.60 million in H1-26 from SAR 29.37 million in H1-25.
The company attributed the top-line growth to the opening of the Maman restaurant and the Kimono Al Narjis branch.
However, the decline in bottom-line performance was primarily driven by a 7.34% increase in the cost of revenues, which outpaced sales growth. This rise was linked to higher operating costs for existing branches and expenses associated with launching new locations.
Earnings per share (EPS) for H1-26 period stood at SAR 1.11 compared to SAR 1.25 in the prior-year period.
Total shareholders' equity increased by 6.07% to SAR 57.86 billion compared to SAR 54.55 billion.
The company noted that certain comparative figures were reclassified to align with the current period's presentation, and the external auditor issued an unmodified opinion.
In June 2026, Foods Gate announced new board formation for the session ending on 5 June 2030.
