Flynas launches 2 weekly direct flights to Damascus

Riyadh – Mubasher: Flynas has announced two weekly direct flights between Jeddah and Damascus as of 12 June, within the framework of the company's regional expansion, according to a press release.

The Saudi carrier seeks to meet travelers needs and enhance air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the countries of the region in line with the national objectives in the aviation sector in the Kingdom.

The National Civil Aviation Strategy aims to connect Saudi Arabia with 250 global destinations and to accommodate 330 million passengers, and to host 150 million tourists yearly by 2030.

Flynas linked the Kingdom and various Syrian cities, operating direct flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Damascus, Aleppo, and Latakia.

The carrier operates 139 routes to over 70 domestic and international destinations in 30 countries with more than 2,000 weekly flights and has flown more than 80 million passengers since its launch in 2007.

It aims to reach 165 domestic and international destinations within its growth and expansion plan, and in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.

The company recently set the final initial public offering (IPO) price at SAR 80 per share.
