Emaar the Economic City unveils SAR 547.5m construction deal

Riyadh – Mubasher: Emaar the Economic City signed a construction contract valued at SAR 547.38 million with Nesma & Partners Contracting on 5 July 2026.

The agreement focuses on the development of infrastructure networks within the Special Economic Zone of the Industrial Valley at King Abdullah Economic City.

The scope of work includes the first phase of infrastructure for the King Salman Automotive Manufacturing Hub, alongside other strategic projects within the Industrial Valley.

These works are designed to support existing clients and fulfill current contractual obligations. The project has a duration of 18 months.

The company expects the financial impact of this contract to begin appearing in its financial results starting from the third quarter (Q3) of 2026.

This transaction involves a related party, as the Public Investment Fund, a major shareholder in Emaar Economic City, also holds a 30.10% stake in Nesma & Partners Contracting.

The contract award follows an initial tender results announcement made on 5 May 2026.

In June, the listed group formed its audit committee for a new four-year term.
