Riyadh — Mubasher: Edarat Communication and Information Technology Company issued a purchase order valued at SAR 127.54 million to acquire cloud computing and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) infrastructure equipment.
The transaction with supplier Aqlaniat Technology Ltd is part of a strategic plan approved by the board of directors on 9 September 2026 to expand the EdaratCloud Stack ecosystem.
The scope of work will be executed in five stages over the next six months.
Edarat confirmed that the procurement will be funded through a combination of financing arrangements with the supplier and local bank facilities.
This expansion aims to significantly increase the company's technical capacity in GPU-based computing and cloud infrastructure services.
The company expects the capital assets to be recognized in its financial statements during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026 and Q1-27.
Edarat further noted that depreciation for the new equipment will be calculated over a period of five years in accordance with the firm's accounting policies.
Executive management has been authorized to finalize all contractual and financial procedures related to the purchase.
