EIC to distribute 25% cash dividends for H1-26

Riyadh - Mubasher: Electrical Industries Company’s (EIC) board of directors has approved a cash dividend distribution of SAR 140.63 million to shareholders for the first half (H1) of 2026.

The payout is equivalent to 25% of the share's nominal value, according to a bourse filing.

The distribution will be allocated across 1.12 billion eligible shares at a rate of SAR 0.125 per share. This decision follows the company’s three-year dividend policy, which was approved by the General Assembly on 4 December 2024 and commenced in H2-24.

Eligibility for the dividends is set for shareholders owning stock at the market close on 4 August 2026 and who are registered with the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) by the end of the second trading day following the eligibility date.

The company confirmed that the payment process is scheduled to begin on 23 August 2026.

EIC noted that distributions to non-resident investors will be subject to a 5% withholding tax in accordance with Saudi tax regulations.

Shareholders are encouraged to ensure their bank account details are correctly linked to their investment portfolios to facilitate the transfer.

EIC generated 54.72% higher net profits during Q2-26, reaching SAR 211.53 million when compared to SAR 136.72 million in Q2-25.
