City Cement to hold OGM early August for board member elections

Riyadh – Mubasher: City Cement Company has invited its shareholders to attend the Ordinary General Assembly meeting (OGM) scheduled for 3 August 2026, according to a bourse disclosure.

The primary agenda item for the assembly is to vote on the election of a member for a newly established seat on the Board of Directors.

The elected individual will serve for the remainder of the current board term that is set to conclude on 18 June 2029.  

Meanwhile, the meeting will be conducted via modern technology and the Tadawulaty system to ensure broad shareholder participation.

Shareholders registered in the company's records at the Depository Center by the end of the trading session preceding the meeting are eligible to attend and vote.

City Cement noted that electronic voting for the assembly items is scheduled to begin at 01:00 on 30 July 2026 and will remain open until the conclusion of the meeting.

The assembly requires a legal quorum of at least one-quarter of the company's capital. If this quorum is not met, a second meeting will be held one hour after the scheduled time for the first session, which will be considered valid regardless of the number of shares represented.

The cement manufacturer recently held its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), which e-voting for the agenda items commenced on 24 June 2026.
