Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued fixed treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a total value of EGP 11 billion through two tranches on Monday, 14 April 2025.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 3 billion and will mature in two years until 1 April 2027, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering stood at EGP 8 billion and will mature in three years on 1 April 2028.
A week ago, the CEB auctioned T-bonds at an aggregated value of EGP 14 billion.
