Bupa Arabia’s net profits up 7% in Q2-26

Riyadh - Mubasher: Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Company achieved net profits after Zakat of SAR 306.78 million for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, representing a 7.17% increase from SAR 286.25 million in the same period last year.

The company attributed the growth primarily to a 12.39% rise in insurance revenues, which reached SAR 5.30 billion compared to SAR 4.72 billion a year earlier.

The insurer’s performance was supported by a 16.94% increase in net investment results, which climbed to SAR 215.83 million.

Insurance service results also improved by 14.41% to reach SAR 264.43 million, fueled by operational growth. However, these gains were partially offset by a 20.04% rise in other operating expenses, which totaled SAR 114.42 million as the company expanded its operations.

For the first half (H1) of 2026, net profit rose by 4.14% to SAR 694.08 million, while insurance revenues grew by 15.50% to SAR 10.54 billion.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period stood at SAR 4.68, up from SAR 4.46 in the prior-year period.

Total shareholders' equity increased by 7.47% to SAR 5.64 billion as of 30 June 2026. Gross written premiums for the half-year period reached SAR 13.45 billion, an increase of 11.77% YoY.

As of 31 March 2026, the group’s net profits rose by 1.85% YoY to SAR 387.29 million from SAR 380.23 million.
