Batic’s unit receives SAR 42m enforcement order from administrative court

Riyadh – Mubasher: Batic Investments and Logistics Company announced on 5 July 2026 that its subsidiary, Smart City Solutions for Communications and Information Technology, received an enforcement order from the Administrative Enforcement Court.

The order, based on an enforcement document issued by the Qassim Region Municipality via the Furas platform, requires the payment of SAR 42.21 million, including value-added tax.

The claim originates from a municipal real estate investment contract for the leasing, development, operation, and maintenance of smart parking and yards in downtown Buraydah.

The Qassim Region Municipality terminated the agreement in February 2025.

Smart City Solutions for Communications and Information Technology has initiated legal proceedings to challenge the claim.

After the Administrative Court in Buraydah rejected a lawsuit to cancel the invoice, the ruling was upheld by the Administrative Court of Appeal in Riyadh.

The subsidiary has since filed a request to overturn the judgment before the Supreme Court, following established statutory procedures.

Batic stated that the company is taking all necessary legal measures regarding the matter.

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, the company’s net profits dropped by 10.54% to SAR 12.25 million from SAR 13.69 million in Q1-25.
