Aramco’s net profits leap 36% in 9M-26; total revenues exceed SAR 1.3trn

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) announced its preliminary financial results for the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, reporting a 41.26% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to SAR 137.39 billion, compared to SAR 97.26 billion.

The revenues jumped 20.23% to SAR 464.33 billion in Q3-26 from SAR 386.17 billion a year earlier. Management attributed the growth primarily to higher prices for crude oil, refined products, and chemicals.

On a quarterly basis, the Q3-26 profits hiked by 13.06% from SAR 121.51 billion in April-June 2026, while revenues grew by 3% from SAR 450.77 billion.

These gains were partially offset by lower sales volumes across those categories and increased operating costs. The bottom line was further supported by the recognition of gains from the sale of Aramco's equity interest in an associate company.

For the first nine months (9M) of 2026, the oil giant achieved a net profit of SAR 379.02 billion, up 36.05% YoY from SAR 278.57 billion. Total revenue for the nine-month period hit SAR 1.34 trillion.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the current period stood at SAR 1.57, compared to SAR 1.15 in 9M-25. Total equity reached SAR 1.64 billion, representing an annual growth of 9.01%.

Amin H. Nasser, President and CEO of Aramco, commented: “Geopolitical uncertainty and attacks on key energy facilities continued to amplify the global energy supply crisis in Q3-26, with serious implications for global energy security.”

Nasser added: “Despite challenges, the unwavering dedication of our workforce, our operational excellence, the flexibility of our system, and the strength of a supply network built over decades enabled us to continue delivering reliably to our customers through this extraordinary period.”

The CEO affirmed: “We continue to explore additional overseas storage capacity and alternative export routes to further strengthen our global supply network, and our robust operational and financial performance during this volatile period demonstrates the value of our resilience.”
