Alujain Corporation’s net profits skyrocket 639% in Q2-26

Riyadh - Mubaher: The net profits of Alujain Corporation hiked by 639.10% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 91.87 million for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, compared to SAR 12.43 million in Q2-25.

The petrochemical firm attributed the growth to a 71% rise in revenues, which reached SAR 541.85 million, supported by increased sales volumes and improved product pricing.

Operating profit for the quarter surged to SAR 127.61 million, compared to SAR 4.19 million in the previous year.

The company noted that performance was bolstered by higher contributions from its joint venture, NATPET Schulman, and improved margins at its subsidiary, National Petrochemical Industrial Company (NATPET).

For the first six months (6M) of 2026, Alujain Corporation recorded a net profit of SAR 104.05 million, reversing a net loss of SAR 4.80 million in the prior-year period. Half-year revenue climbed 58.34% to SAR 872.15 million

The company disclosed that it has invested over SAR 1.27 billion in the new Alujain (NATPET-2) project as of 30 June 2026.

Alujain Corporation classified its subsidiary, Manufacturing Infrastructure Processing Company, as held for sale following a partnership agreement with Belgium's Beaulieu Fibres International. Total equity stood at SAR 2.56 billion at the end of the period.

In Q1-26, the company turned profitable at SAR 12.17 million, against net losses attributable to the shareholders at SAR 17.23 million in Q1-25.
