Riyadh — Mubasher: The net profits of Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company increased by 6.94% to SAR 128.12 million in the first six months (6M) of 2026, compared to SAR 119.81 million a year earlier.
The company attributed the growth in profitability primarily to a 6.36% rise in operating profit, which reached SAR 153.91 million.
Total revenue for the half-year period fell by 19.79% to SAR 1.03 billion, versus SAR 1.28 billion in the prior-year period. Management stated the decline in sales was driven by the completion and handover of several projects as the company transitions into new contracts.
For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 63.65 million, up 3.23% when compared to SAR 61.66 million in Q2-25.
Quarterly revenue stood at SAR 515.65 million, down 20.18% year-on-year (YoY) but remaining stable with a 0.54% increase over Q1-25.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period improved to SAR 3.66, compared to SAR 3.42 in the previous year. Total shareholders' equity rose by 28.81% to SAR 1.06 billion.
On 19 July, the listed company inked a SAR 69.59 million contract for the operation, maintenance, and cleaning of treated water facilities and networks in Riyadh.
