Cairo - Mubasher: The board members of Alexandria Container & Cargo Handling approved the company's estimated budget for 2026, according to a bourse filing.
The EGX-listed company targets net profits of EGP 7.66 billion for 2026, excluding the impact of the accident compensation involving cranes Number 12 and 13 at El-Dhekelia Terminal. The operating revenues are expected to reach EGP 8.71 billion.
Furthermore, the company plans to handle a total of 1.10 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs). This includes 1.07 million foreign trade containers and 22,676 transit containers.
On 28 January, the board also greenlighted an investment plan worth EGP 1.27 billion to enhance the efficiency and development of the company’s operational and engineering sectors
During the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2025/2026, Alexandria Container logged EGP 3.34 billion in net profits after tax, lower by 2% than EGP 3.41 billion in H1-24/25.
