Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Rajhi Takaful Company for Cooperative Insurance recorded 2.70% year-on-year (YoY) higher net profit after Zakat at SAR 207.84 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, versus SAR 202.37 million.
The company attributed the growth to improved results in medical and motor insurance activities, alongside a 22.81% rise in net investment income, which reached SAR 126.25 million.
Insurance revenue for the six-month period climbed by 17.43% to SAR 3.04 billion, compared to SAR 2.59 billion a year earlier. Earnings per share (EPS) for the period rose to SAR 1.04 from SAR 1.01.
For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the insurer’s net profit fell by 15.45% YoY to SAR 94.34 million.
The quarterly decline was pressured by higher general insurance claims and a decrease in protection and savings insurance revenue. Despite the profit dip, quarterly insurance revenue grew by 10.97% to SAR 1.53 billion.
Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, stood at SAR 2.78 billion at the end of the period, up from SAR 2.29 billion in the prior-year period.
In Q1-26, the listed company logged net profits valued at SAR 113.50 million, up 25% YoY from SAR 90.79 million.
