Riyadh – Mubasher: Almasane Alkobra Mining Company (AMAK) unveiled the results of an independent Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its Jabal Qarn project in the Najran region.
The report, prepared by Cube Consulting Pty Limited in accordance with JORC (2012) standards, identified approximately 14 million tons of mineralized material at the site.
The independent assessment classified 11.30 million tons as JORC-compliant mineral resources, while the remaining 2.70 million tons consist of unclassified mineralized material.
Within the classified resources, the company identified 9.70 million tons of polymetallic mineralization with a copper equivalent grade of 1.38%.
Additionally, the project contains 1.50 million tons of gold mineralization with an average grade of 1.10 grams per ton.
This update follows an initial discovery announcement made on 25 November 2025.
AMAK confirmed that it is continuing developmental studies to transition the current exploration license into a mining license.
Future exploration drilling will focus on testing the extensions of the current mineralization at greater depths and in surrounding areas to potentially increase the total resource volume.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the net profits of AMAK reached SAR 94.76 million, down 26.13% from SAR 128.29 million in H1-25.
